A direct quote from James Gonin, Senior Associate, Page Southerland Page, LLP:
"The GSA's performance criteria restricted us to relatively small windows set in large expanses of solid, non-fenestrated wall. We saw this as an opportunity to reinterpret the traditional adobe construction of the region. Thermocromex gave us a beautiful, reasonably priced product that could be directly applied in one coat to large areas without the use of control joints - giving us the natural, seamless appearance that we were seeking. The thermal and moisture resistive properties of Thermocromex were like icing on the cake. Product representatives were on site and available throughout the installation process, and we are very pleased with the results. The project achieved a LEED Silver rating and has been recognized with an AIA design award." |
